1. Branding

1.1 We speak Human

Imagine a world, where doctors could easily identify symptoms. Where the latest advances in medical science were instantly applied to medical practice, and where misdiagnoses were reduced to a bare minimum.

The reality is that thousands of humans die from inaccurate or incomplete diagnoses, every day. We believe we have found a way to greatly reduce human errors simply by translating human body language, a language that has proven to transcends culture and origin. 

Our ambition is to implement an interview practice and create a universal doctor-patient relationship. This guiding principle for behavior is at the core of our philosophy: To help every medical practitioner decode the language of the human body.

If we succeed, we have achieved one of the greatest medical achievements of all time, while saving millions of lives in the process.

2. Design

2.1 Logo

Our logo consists of two elements: our symbol, and our logotype. These two elements can either be used as a lock-up, which comes in a horizontal and a vertical version, or seperately as shown in the layout examples further below (2.6 Layouts).

Our symbol may stand alone on certain occasions, but it is prefered that the logotype is also visible in the layout. The logotype however, may never be used without the symbol.

Our color palette consists of the colors shown here. The colors are defined in RGB and HEX (for screen) and CMYK and Pantone (for print).

2.3.1 Primary typeface

Nantes combines a rich graphic character with solid functional quality. The drop-formed endings in the lowercase letters give this typeface a unique appearance.

Nantes is used for display-type treatments where our message needs to be elegant, trustworthy and confident.

2.4 Images

Focusing on the human body, the goal is to create an intimate and sensual expression, without getting sexy.

Close-ups of skin and curves, provide abstract yet recognisable imagery, that will work as sensual backdrops to all types of communication. Each image is featured in several different crops, making sure there is an image for any use case.

Portraits deliver personality for powerful messaging.

2.5 The Gradient

The Gradient is a representation of the body's language. Along with the logo, understanding the language of the body, is the Corti Trademark.

The Gradient can stand alone, or work as a way to create instant Corti recognisability on images. It can be static, or animated, depending on the specific use. Please use 2.7 Layout Inspiration as a reference for how to implement The Gradient.
